AUW students talk about Street Vendors
Students
of Asian University for Women, Bangladesh often discuss and study about the
issues related with poverty, urban poor, economic disparity, discrimination and other relevant fields to street vending. Hence, I wanted to know their
opinion about street vending. The interviews were taken in from a small digital
camera since I wanted the interviews to be spontaneous. The interviewees were
not informed earlier about the interview; it is based on voluntarily participation
for an instant invite. In general, it seems that though students are aware of
the negative outcomes of street vending, they still value to the positive
outcomes of street vending related to society and related to their personal
life.
